94 Syracuse-Area Students From Local Districts Inducted Into National Technical Honor Society

Congratulations to the 94 Syracuse-area OCM BOCES Career and Technical Education students recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. The induction ceremony honoring students from many component school districts, including Baldwinsville, Cazenovia, Chittenango, East Syracuse Minoa, Fayetteville-Manlius, Liverpool, Marcellus, Jamesville-DeWitt, North Syracuse, Onondaga, Solvay, West Genesee and Westhill, took place on April 28, 2011 at the OCM BOCES Irvin E. Henry Campus in Syracuse.

Students inducted into the technical honor society represent the “best of the best” in Career and Technical Education Programs. In order to be inducted into the technical honor society students must have an 85 average or higher, 12 or fewer absences from their program for the year and receive a teacher endorsement. Students must also demonstrate attributes that include: respect, honesty, skill, responsibility, leadership, service and citizenship. Congratulations to the students and their families!
